OPAL creates a new subsidiary in Canada

During August Opal set up its new subsidiary’s base in Montreal at Lanctôt’s premises and will be working closely with the company to develop its business in Canada.

Lanctôt is a leading name in the industry, as a reputed distributor and manufacturer of high-profile brands in the sport and optical fields. With 60 years of experience, Lanctôt was the ideal partner to take on the distribution of Opal products to Canadian opticians.

The new Opal Canada sales team has already started going out to see opticians and optometrists throughout Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime Provinces.

The representatives will be supported by their Lanctôt colleagues for all logistics purposes, while Opal’s marketing savoir-faire will enable them to offer the sales tools best suited to customers’ needs.
